How It Works
FrameShop World prints your photos on great quality canvas and photo papers. Our Vibrant Canvas and our Gorgeous Swiss Pearl Photo paper are both unique substrates offered at very reasonable prices. With inks will last a life time, rated at 75 years in direct light, you can count on your special framed photo to become a family heirloom.
Canvas prints are coated with a Lustre finish, giving the print additional protection with rich depth. Each print is then mounted and finished with a dust seal backing, wire, bumpers and hanger making it ready to hang on your wall.
Frames
We've worked hard to provide you with a wide selection of high quality, long lasting wood and composite frames. We take pride in that selection and will continue to update and increase our list. If you are looking for a particular frame style email us with your request and we will do our best to accommodate. Crop/Drag
Use the “Zoom” tool to assist in dragging and cropping your image by clicking on the Zoom In + and Zoom Out buttons. Be careful not to Zoom in too much as the quality of your image can begin to lose its print quality. Once your image is dragged into place and you've selected a frame that you like, simply select a size and add it to your cart. The full quality image will be saved along with details of your preferred crop and frame choice.
Image Size
FrameShop World requires a minimum image size of at least 1000 pixels x 1000 pixels. Most digital cameras from about the year 2000 will have at least this quality met as long as settings or image was not downsized. If you are finding that your image is being rejected because the quality is too low, it is because the image has most likely been edited to be a smaller size. Try to locate where your photo originated from as you may have a full quality image at that location. If you have a special project that falls under our (1000 pixel) minimum and you are aware but need to print regardless, simply email us and we will give you an option to upload and proceed with your order.
Gallery Wraps
Gallery wraps are a frameless option where the canvas wraps around a wood stretcher bar. This stretcher bar can be either 3/4” or 1.5” deep. Your photo will print to the edge and the sides can be finished with a Glossy Black, Glossy White, or Mirror option. The Mirror wrap is where the outer 2 inches of your photo are copied and "mirrored" onto the sides. This technique allows us to extend your image without compromising its content.
Cell Phone Photos
We print cell phone photos as well, if up-ressing (improving resolution) is needed we will apply this process free of charge. We determine this enhancement when orders are received and evaluated. Apps like Hipstamatic and Diptic are great Apps that we support with our square format framing options.
